Why a gas air compressor
An electric compressor with this much air needs 230 volt power and a fixed spot. A gas unit with a Honda engine goes on the truck and makes the same air anywhere, which is the whole job for mobile mechanics, tire service, fleet yards and construction crews. The cost is fuel, exhaust and a little engine maintenance, so gas compressors live outdoors and on trucks.
CFM and PSI
Tools are rated in CFM at 90 PSI. Impact guns want about 5, die grinders 6 to 8, sanders and needle scalers 10 or more, and a sandblaster more still. Buy the CFM for the biggest tool plus what runs beside it. PSI on a compressor is the tank pressure; 175 PSI units store more air and run tools longer between cycles than 90 PSI units.
Compressor, generator and welder combinations
A service truck has one engine bay and three needs. The BE AC138HEG2 puts a 16 CFM compressor and a generator on one Honda GX390; the 30 gallon compressor generator adds tank; and the 19 CFM compressor, welder and generator unit is the complete service body on one engine. One fuel, one starter, one set of maintenance.
Air compressors for trucks
The AC658HB at 13.8 CFM and the AC908HB2 at 17.7 CFM are the truck mounted units: compact, Honda powered, sized for a mobile mechanic or a tire truck. The 23 CFM GX390 unit is the fleet shop and construction compressor that runs two tools at once.

BE 23 CFM unit for shops and crews
The BE 23 CFM 175 PSI gas air compressor with Honda GX390 is the fleet shop and construction compressor.
BE AC138HEG2 for service trucks
The BE AC138HEG2 compressor and generator puts air and power on one Honda GX390 engine.
Freight, delivery and returns on machines
Free freight to the lower 48. Machines ship new from the manufacturer by freight carrier at no charge to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days.
Liftgate service, $95 flat. No dock or forklift? Choose liftgate service when you add the machine to the cart. The carrier calls ahead to schedule, brings the crate to your address and lowers it to the ground with a liftgate. It lands at the curb or driveway, not inside the building. One flat fee per order, whatever the machine weighs.
On delivery. Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it. We file the claim with the carrier, and if a replacement is needed we ship it.
Returns. Unused machines in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return freight is the buyer's responsibility, and a refused freight delivery is handled the same way, which is why we would rather confirm the model before it ships: send the job, the water and the power on site through the form on this page and we check the spec against the machine. Full terms are on the shipping policy and return policy pages.
