Pressure Washer Nozzles and Tips

Pressure Washer Tips: Turbo Nozzles, Quick Connect Sets and Rotating Nozzles

The nozzle is where the machine's pressure becomes a spray pattern, and a worn or wrong tip wastes the whole unit. The nine pressure washer nozzles and tips here cover the three things a crew replaces: quick connect spray tip sets in the standard 0, 15, 25, 40 degree and soap pattern, turbo nozzles that spin a 0 degree jet into a cone for caked mud and concrete, and rotating industrial nozzles from Pressure-Pro, plus a second story nozzle set and a Kranzle nozzle guard. All are rated from 3,600 to 5,000 PSI and ship new from the manufacturer through High Pressure Car Washer, an authorized dealer for Simpson, Pressure-Pro and Kranzle, with free shipping to the lower 48 states.

Match two things: the rating to the machine, and the fitting, 1/4 inch quick connect on everything here except the Kranzle guard. Then match the pattern to the surface: 40 degree for cars and siding, 25 for decks and general work, 15 for concrete, turbo for the jobs a fan tip will not move. The guide under the products explains each pattern, and the guns and wands they clip into are one collection over.

Pressure washer nozzle sizes and patterns

The color on a quick connect tip is the fan angle. Red is 0 degrees, a pencil jet for stripping and far reach that will cut wood and paint. Yellow is 15 degrees for concrete and heavy cleaning. Green is 25 degrees, the general purpose tip for decks, driveways and equipment. White is 40 degrees for cars, siding and anything painted. Black is the low pressure soap tip that pulls detergent through the injector. A set of all five is the first thing to replace on a used machine.

Turbo nozzles

A turbo nozzle spins a 0 degree jet in a tight cone, so the surface gets the impact of a pencil jet across the coverage of a 25 degree tip. On caked mud, concrete, brick and heavy equipment it cuts cleaning time roughly in half. Keep it off wood, paint and soft surfaces. The Simpson 80143 fits machines to 3,600 PSI and the 80144 to 4,500 PSI.

Rotating and industrial nozzles

The Pressure-Pro Rotomax rotating nozzles are the industrial version of the turbo nozzle, rebuildable and rated for daily commercial use to 3,500 PSI, with 1/4 inch quick connect plugs. The ARM010 is the genuine Rotomax I replacement; the ARM020 is the 0 degree light blue unit.

Second story nozzles and nozzle guards

The Simpson 80177 second story set is a quick connect nozzle pair that carries the spray to a second story without an extension wand, rated to 5,000 PSI. The Kranzle 97132600 spray guard snaps onto a Kranzle lance to keep spray off the operator when cleaning close to the surface.

Quick connect nozzle sets

Every Simpson and Pressure-Pro nozzle here uses the 1/4 inch quick connect standard, which fits every wand and gun on this site. Buy the set rated above your machine's PSI: 3,600 PSI sets for homeowner and light commercial units, 4,500 PSI sets for contractor machines.

Pressure Washer Nozzles and Tips questions, answered

Which nozzle should I use for what?
40 degree white for cars and siding, 25 degree green for decks and general cleaning, 15 degree yellow for concrete, 0 degree red for stripping and reach only, black for soap. Turbo nozzles for caked mud, concrete and equipment.
Will these nozzles fit my pressure washer?
Every Simpson and Pressure-Pro nozzle here uses the 1/4 inch quick connect standard that fits the wands and guns on this site. The Kranzle spray guard fits Kranzle lances only. Buy the rating above your machine's PSI.
What does a turbo nozzle do?
It spins a 0 degree jet in a cone so you get pencil jet impact over 25 degree coverage. It roughly halves cleaning time on concrete, brick and caked equipment. Keep it off wood and paint.
Why is my pressure low with a new nozzle?
The orifice size matters as much as the pattern. A nozzle sized for a bigger machine drops the pressure on a smaller one. The sets here are sized for the PSI class on the label; match the set to your machine.
How does shipping work on accessories?
Shipping is free to the lower 48 states by ground. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days. Accessories ordered with a machine ship separately by ground while the machine goes by freight.
Are these sold by an authorized dealer?
Yes. High Pressure Car Washer is an authorized dealer for BE Power Equipment, Cam Spray, Kranzle, Makinex, Pressure-Pro and Simpson, and everything ships new from the manufacturer with its factory warranty.
What if the part does not fit my machine?
Unused accessories in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return shipping is the buyer's responsibility, so check the connection and the pressure rating on the product page first, or call (219) 327-1138 and we confirm the fit.
