What a soft wash system does
A soft wash system is a chemical applicator: a gas engine drives a diaphragm pump that tolerates bleach, the pump draws from a tank of mix, and a long hose and a soft wash gun lay the solution on the surface at 300 to 500 PSI. The chemistry kills the algae, mildew and mold that stain roofs and siding; the water only carries it. Because the pressure is low, nothing gets stripped, and because the flow is high, a two story house takes minutes to coat.
Soft wash systems for roof cleaning
Asphalt shingles, tile and metal roofs are cleaned with soft wash and nothing else; pressure voids shingle warranties and lifts granules. The job wants 10 GPM or more to reach the ridge from the ground or a ladder, a pump that survives a strong sodium hypochlorite mix, and a tank of 50 to 100 gallons. The BE SW1165 skids and the Pressure-Pro 100 gallon Pro-Chem system are the roof machines here.
Soft wash systems for house washing
Vinyl, stucco, brick and painted wood get a lighter mix and the same low pressure, followed by a rinse. A house wash crew wants the skid in the truck bed with a hose reel and 200 feet of hose so the truck never moves. Gear drive versions run the pump slower and last longer on a crew; electric start saves the pull cord thirty times a day.
Soft wash pumps and skids
The pump is the machine. Diaphragm pumps from Comet and CP move 10 to 11 GPM and are built for bleach, which destroys a pressure washer pump in a season. Gear drive spins the pump at a fraction of engine speed for pump life; direct drive costs less. All six systems here sit on a steel skid that bolts into a truck or trailer; the Pressure-Pro RCS unit fits an ATV rack.
Soft wash guns and nozzles
A soft wash gun with a shut off and a set of low pressure nozzles turns the flow into a wide, gentle stream that reaches the roof line. Pair the system with the guns in spray guns and wands, the nozzles in nozzles and tips, and a chemical rated hose from hoses.
Soft wash systems we recommend by job
Four picks for the four ways crews buy these.
BE SW1165HZ for roof cleaning
The BE Power Equipment SW1165HZ mobile soft wash system pushes 11 GPM at 300 PSI from a Honda GX200 and a CP diaphragm pump, the roof line reach on a compact skid.
BE SW1165HEC2 for house washing crews
The BE Power Equipment SW1165HEC2 gear drive soft wash system adds gear drive pump life and electric start to the same 11 GPM, for a crew that washes houses every day.
Pressure-Pro RCS/G1050HH for properties and ATVs
The Pressure-Pro Pro-ATV roll cage skid sprayer runs 10 GPM at 500 PSI on a Honda engine in a roll cage that rides an ATV rack or a truck bed.
Pressure-Pro SW100-G1003HA for a truck with its own tank
The Pressure-Pro Pro-Chem SW100 soft wash spray system carries a 100 gallon tank on the skid with a 10 GPM Honda powered pump, the self contained truck system.
Freight, delivery and returns on machines
Free freight to the lower 48. Machines ship new from the manufacturer by freight carrier at no charge to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days.
Liftgate service, $95 flat. No dock or forklift? Choose liftgate service when you add the machine to the cart. The carrier calls ahead to schedule, brings the crate to your address and lowers it to the ground with a liftgate. It lands at the curb or driveway, not inside the building. One flat fee per order, whatever the machine weighs.
On delivery. Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it. We file the claim with the carrier, and if a replacement is needed we ship it.
Returns. Unused machines in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return freight is the buyer's responsibility, and a refused freight delivery is handled the same way, which is why we would rather confirm the model before it ships: send the job, the water and the power on site through the form on this page and we check the spec against the machine. Full terms are on the shipping policy and return policy pages.
