Steam pressure washers run the burner hotter and the flow lower so the water leaves the nozzle as wet steam above 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Use the steam setting for degreasing engines and machinery, lifting gum and grime that pressure alone smears, and sanitizing food and medical surfaces without blasting them. Every unit here is a commercial hot water pressure washer with a steam mode, from the Kranzle Therm electric series for indoor shops to Pressure-Pro Dirt Laser gas units and natural gas heated stationary machines. Free shipping to the lower 48 from an authorized dealer.

What a steam setting actually does

Every machine in this collection is a hot water pressure washer first. Turn the thermostat past the hot water range and reduce the flow, and the burner pushes the water past 250 degrees Fahrenheit so it leaves the nozzle as wet steam. The pressure drops, the heat does the work. That is the setting for grease on engines and drivetrains, gum and hydraulic film on machinery, and sanitizing surfaces in food and medical settings where pressure would drive dirt into seams instead of lifting it.

Electric steam units for indoor work

The Kranzle Therm series runs on 220 volt single phase or three phase power with no engine exhaust, so it belongs in detail bays, service departments, kitchens and plants. The Kranzle K2175TST Therm is the single phase unit; the K1165TST Therm adds flow for high volume indoor washing.

Gas and natural gas units with a steam setting

Pressure-Pro Dirt Laser hot water units carry an adjustable thermostat to 250 degrees with a wet steam position, on wheels or on a skid, for shops and mobile crews that need steam outdoors. The natural gas HN series is the stationary answer for a plant with a gas line. Compare them in hot water pressure washers.

Steam is a setting, not a bigger machine

For fleets, yards and heavy equipment, hot water at full flow cleans faster than steam. Buy steam for the surfaces that need heat without force, and use the hot water setting the rest of the day.

Freight, delivery and returns on machines

Free freight to the lower 48. Machines ship new from the manufacturer by freight carrier at no charge to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days.

No dock or forklift? Ask for liftgate delivery when you order and we quote it before anything ships, so there is never a surprise charge at the curb. The carrier calls ahead to schedule the delivery, and a crate of this size lands curbside, not inside the building.

On delivery. Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it, and we file the claim with the carrier.

Returns. Unused machines in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return freight is the buyer's responsibility, which is why we would rather confirm the model before it ships: send the job, the water and the power on site through the form on this page and we check the spec against the machine. Full terms are on the shipping policy and return policy pages.

Steam Pressure Washers questions, answered

What is the difference between a steam pressure washer and a hot water pressure washer?
The same machine. A steam capable unit is a hot water pressure washer whose burner and flow can be set to produce wet steam above 250 degrees. In hot water mode it works like any other hot water machine.
Is steam better than hot water for cleaning?
For degreasing engines, removing gum and sanitizing food surfaces, yes, because heat does the work without pressure. For washing trucks, equipment and concrete, hot water at full flow is faster.
Do these units need special water or chemicals?
No. They run on the same supply as any pressure washer. Detergent injection works in hot water mode; in steam mode most operators run water only.
How does shipping work on a steam unit?
Shipping is free to the lower 48 states by freight carrier to a commercial address with a dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal. No dock? Ask for liftgate delivery and we quote it before shipping. Delivery takes 5 to 8 business days after 0 to 1 days of preparation.
