A commercial pressure washer is built to run hours a day: a triplex plunger pump instead of an axial pump, an industrial engine or motor, a frame that survives the truck, and parts that a dealer can replace. What makes a pressure washer commercial

Three things. The pump: a triplex plunger pump with ceramic plungers and a brass or forged manifold, rebuildable, rated for thousands of hours, against the sealed axial pump on a consumer unit. The drive: belt drive and gear drive units spin the pump slower than the engine, which is why they last on a crew. The frame and the parts: powder coated steel, industrial engines from Honda, Kohler and Vanguard, motors from Baldor and Leeson, and a dealer network that stocks pumps, unloaders and coils. Commercial electric pressure washers

173 electric units from 1,000 to 7,000 PSI. Indoors they are the only choice, and the circuit decides the machine: 120 volt for units to about 2,000 PSI, 230 volt single phase for the 3,000 PSI 4 GPM class most shops run, three phase for stationary machines and hot water units above that. Commercial gas pressure washers

Commercial hot water pressure washers

110 hot water units. Heated water is what separates a clean fleet from a wet one: road film, grease and diesel soot let go at 180 to 250 degrees where cold water only moves them. Car wash and truck wash equipment

A car wash prep bay wants an electric unit in the 2,000 to 3,000 PSI class with 3 to 4 GPM, hot water if the bay handles engine bays or wheels, and a wall mount so the floor stays clear. A truck wash wants flow: 5.5 to 10 GPM hot water units on a skid, with a hose reel and a 100 foot hose so the machine does not move. Fleet washing

Flow first, heat second, pressure third. A 4 GPM hot water unit handles pickups and vans; 5.5 to 8.5 GPM clears tractor trailers, buses and heavy equipment two to three times faster. Pressure washers for auto dealerships and auto shops

A dealership detail bay runs all day, indoors, on cars: an electric hot water unit on 230 volt single phase, in the 2,500 to 3,000 PSI class, with a foam cannon and a quality gun. Free freight to the lower 48. Machines ship new from the manufacturer by freight carrier at no charge to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days.

Liftgate service, $95 flat. No dock or forklift? Choose liftgate service when you add the machine to the cart. The carrier calls ahead to schedule, brings the crate to your address and lowers it to the ground with a liftgate. It lands at the curb or driveway, not inside the building. One flat fee per order, whatever the machine weighs.

On delivery. Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it. We file the claim with the carrier, and if a replacement is needed we ship it.

Returns. Unused machines in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return freight is the buyer's responsibility, and a refused freight delivery is handled the same way, which is why we would rather confirm the model before it ships: send the job, the water and the power on site through the form on this page and we check the spec against the machine. What is the difference between commercial and industrial pressure washers?
Commercial covers professional units rated for daily use: triplex pumps, industrial engines and motors, 2,000 to 4,000 PSI. Industrial usually means the top of that range, 4,000 to 7,000 PSI, three phase electric or large engine units, built for plants, hydro blasting and surface prep. Both are on this page.
Which commercial pressure washer is best for a car wash?
A wall mount or portable electric unit in the 2,000 to 3,000 PSI class with 3 to 4 GPM. Add hot water if the bay does engine bays and wheels. Cam Spray wall mounts and the Pressure-Pro Hot Shot electric units are the usual picks.
What do I need for truck and fleet washing?
Flow. A 5.5 to 8.5 GPM hot water unit clears a tractor trailer two to three times faster than a 4 GPM machine. Put it on a skid with a tank if the fleet washes at more than one yard, on wheels if the yard has water and power.

Can a commercial electric pressure washer run on a standard outlet?
Units up to about 2,000 PSI and 2 GPM run on a 120 volt 15 or 20 amp circuit. Anything larger needs 230 volt single phase, and stationary units from about 5 HP up run on three phase. The electrical spec is on every product page.
How long does a commercial pressure washer last?
A triplex pump is rated for thousands of hours and can be rebuilt. With pump oil changed on schedule, clean water and no dry running, commercial units run for a decade on a crew. Most failures come from running a pump without water or leaving water in it to freeze.
Belt drive or direct drive?
Belt drive spins the pump slower and cooler, runs quieter and lasts longer, which is why crews that wash every day buy belt drive. Direct drive costs less and weighs less, and is fine for a machine that runs a few hours a week.
How does shipping work on a pressure washer?
