What a 3,000 PSI pressure washer is for
Driveways and sidewalks with a surface cleaner, decks and fences with a wide tip, siding, shop floors, trailers and equipment that need a wash rather than a strip, and cars at a distance with a 40 degree tip. It is the most useful pressure class because it does the most jobs without damage.
3,000 PSI gas pressure washers
Forty five gas units. At the homeowner end, the Simpson Clean Machine, BE 3475PX and Pressure-Pro Pro Power units at 3,300 to 3,400 PSI and 2.5 GPM with axial pumps. At the commercial end, the BE B3165 and B3213 units and the Pressure-Pro Eagle II 5030 at 3,000 to 3,200 PSI and 3 to 5.5 GPM with triplex pumps, and the Simpson Truck Mount hot water skids at 8 GPM.
3,000 PSI electric pressure washers
Forty six electric units, the class most shops run: 3,000 PSI at 4 GPM on a 7.5 HP motor on 230 volt single phase or 10 HP on three phase. The Pressure-Pro Eagle EE4030 and Pro-Max B4030 portables, the Cam Spray 3000 series wall mounts and portables, the BE X series, and the electric hot water units from BE, Cam Spray and Pressure-Pro. See electric pressure washers.
3,000 PSI hot water pressure washers
The hot water units in this class are the shop and dealership machines: the BE 67HD electric units at 5 GPM, the Cam Spray 3000SHDE and STNEF units, the BE HW2765 and HW3024 gas units, and the Simpson Truck Mount hot skids. See hot water pressure washers.
Homeowner or commercial at 3,000 PSI
If the machine washes for money or every week, buy the triplex pump commercial unit at 3,000 PSI and 4 GPM. If it washes a driveway and a deck a few times a year, the 3,400 PSI axial pump unit does the job at a third of the price. The comparison table shows both ends.

Freight, delivery and returns on machines
Free freight to the lower 48. Machines ship new from the manufacturer by freight carrier at no charge to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift, or to the carrier's nearest terminal for pickup. Orders are prepared within 0 to 1 business days and delivery takes 5 to 8 business days.
Liftgate service, $95 flat. No dock or forklift? Choose liftgate service when you add the machine to the cart. The carrier calls ahead to schedule, brings the crate to your address and lowers it to the ground with a liftgate. It lands at the curb or driveway, not inside the building. One flat fee per order, whatever the machine weighs.
On delivery. Inspect the crate before signing. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it. We file the claim with the carrier, and if a replacement is needed we ship it.
Returns. Unused machines in original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. A 20 percent restocking fee applies and return freight is the buyer's responsibility, and a refused freight delivery is handled the same way, which is why we would rather confirm the model before it ships: send the job, the water and the power on site through the form on this page and we check the spec against the machine. Full terms are on the shipping policy and return policy pages.
